S O S...Please send mexican food !!!

Hello All:

Sorry for the last blog, i was a little tired so i let the beautiful misses write on it last time (trust me, until i put my two-cents into it, it was even more boring). So, where do I start? We arrived in Pisa on wednesday night, and once again, thanks to the my chincy wife, found ourselves walking 5 miles to our hotel, just to avoid taking a 5 dollar taxi (fortunatley for me, the gods have avenged her for this with a nasty blister between two of her toes(too much toe jam). RUSS YOUR FEET! (if you get my drift)). Pisa was great. Its two streets about a mile long with a leaning tower at the end (my kind of town). There were boutiques everywhere and the people, for the most part, spoke english. Most of all, we were excited about finding pizza and other italian favorites. However, on a more grism note, pizza three meals a day, three days in a row is getting a little old, so for the last hour or so, gayle and i have scoured the cinque terre for anything resembling mexican food or with beef. On that note, we arrived in the cinque terre yesterday afternoon by train. Although we were a little nervous at first, we were surprised with the best possible hotel in the best possible location. We got a ocean front balcony room that is literally 50 feet away from the water. The hotel is super clean and the climate, most of all is warm enough to thaw out gayle(about 80 degrees with clear skies). The cinque terre is an amazing place to visit. It is situated along the coast. There are 5 towns within site of eachother and connected by rail and a walking path. So this morning we took one of the routes by foot, thinking it was a 30 min walk. To our surprise, it was a two hour walk through a mountain range. Regardless, we had alot of fun, but we should of brought water. So family, get ready and start looking at your calenders for 2011, because were all coming back here (yes george even you would love the cinque terre). Well, tomorrow we leave for florence(the napa valley of italy) and we are excited. Wine is so cheap and good here. It is about 4-6 dollars for a wine bottle, it is 1.50 for a glass! Last, when gayle and i get back, we are eating mexican food only for the first two weeks, so you can find us at felipes (and maybe in and out), so see you there.
